The legacy traces back to 1933, when the brothers Gebran and Nakhle Mahfoud—prominent merchants of the historic Bab Idriss district—realized the first modern landmark of Ras Beirut, designed by a master Italian architect.
Today, WARDA LEBANESE GUESTHOUSE carries this torch forward, housing a curated collection of restored furniture from the legendary Carlton Hotel of Beirut. To stay here is not simply to book a room; it is to be a guest of the Lebanese Patrimoine.
