Warda Lebanese Guesthouse

A Legacy of Elegance and Discovery

A Heritage Signature: The Mahfoud Legacy

WARDA LEBANESE GUESTHOUSE is a living tribute to the golden age of Lebanese architecture and commerce. The property is a signature of the Mahfoud Family, a name synonymous with the mid-century refinement of Beirut.

The legacy traces back to 1933, when the brothers Gebran and Nakhle Mahfoud—prominent merchants of the historic Bab Idriss district—realized the first modern landmark of Ras Beirut. Designed by a master Italian architect, that building became a coastal icon of the era. Today, WARDA LEBANESE GUESTHOUSE carries this torch forward, housing a curated collection of restored furniture from the legendary Carlton Hotel of Beirut. To stay here is not simply to book a room; it is to be a guest of the Lebanese Patrimoine.

The Strategic Center: From the Littoral to the Peaks

Situated in the heart of the Lebanese littoral, WARDA LEBANESE GUESTHOUSE offers an unparalleled geographic advantage. Nestled on the coastal slopes, the house serves as a serene, elevated retreat that bridges the gap between the Mediterranean and the mountains.

Sea to Snow

Experience the rare luxury of the Levant. You are just 15 minutes from the beaches of Jounieh and a scenic drive from the prestigious ski slopes of Kfardebian (Mzaar). We are the rare hub where you can swim in the morning and ski by the afternoon.

The Scenic Path to Baalbeck

Bypass the heavy highway traffic by taking our recommended mountain road trip to Baalbeck. This breathtaking route leads you through Lebanon's stunning natural peaks directly to the majestic Roman temples.

Beirut & Jounieh Access

Reach the vibrant heart of Beirut in just 15 minutes at night. Locally, you are minutes from the Port of Jounieh—the gateway for Mediterranean cruises—and the pedestrian streets of the old city, famous for its night bars and exotic fruit cocktails.

WARDA LEBANESE GUESTHOUSE is nestled within Lebanon's most prestigious intellectual and spiritual circle. Our guests stay at the center of culture:

Romantic Architecture & Boutique Serenity

The atmosphere at WARDA LEBANESE GUESTHOUSE is a masterpiece of traditional aesthetics. Our design features marble, fountains, arcades, and the signature draj mu'allaqa (suspended stairways) overlooking a peaceful central patio.

Meticulously curated, the marble within the house is to represent the best of our land: the deep, soul-stirring red marble sourced from the quarries of Deir El Ahmar and the pristine, elegant white marble from the historic quarries of Jezzine in South Lebanon.
